First, take a breath. A real one. Go outside. Breathe in deeply.

Notice the neighbor trying to open the door, one kid pulling him,

another picking up something (it looks sharp, unclean), the keys

drop because of course they do. Good, you picked them up for him.


Back to the laptop. But, no, not without a snack. Treat yourself.

Isn’t it grand that you still have some cake left from the party?

Speaking of the party, maybe you should post a few pics, friends

making the most of what little time there is. It’s good to have them.


Now, the moment of truth. It’s a funny thing, isn’t it? Really. Like,

imagine your bedroom was just a cave and your computer screen

was just a shadow and there is this light behind it, but you don’t know

where the light comes from, what’s its fuel. Anyway, keep reading.
